Sealed bids are invited for the Sherando High School - Boiler Replacement at 185 South Warrior Drive, Stephens City, Virginia. Architecture | Planning | Interiors. The project is generally described as the complete removal and replacement in kind of two boilers. The latest date for receipt by the Architect of bidders' questions to be answered prior to receipt of bids will be Close of Business on Monday, October 07, 2024. A Bid Bond and Contract Security will be required of all bidders regardless of amount. Bidders shall be required to bind their bid for sixty (60) days. The contract for the project shall be awarded on a lump sum basis of the Base Bid plus such Alternates as the Owner in its sole discretion decides to award. Bidder's attention is directed to the requirements of Title 54, Chapter 11, of the Code of Virginia pertaining to registration of Contractors. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawing of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and / or to waive any informality in the bidding procedures.
