The City of Sierra Vista is requesting bids from qualified Contractors for Martin Luther King Reconstruction Project (from Avenida Escuela to SR 90), 2025-IFB-012-PW276 to be received no later than Monday, October 28, 2024 at 10:00 am. All bids received after bid response deadline will not be accepted. This project includes tasks necessary to improve an approximate 1,370 linear foot section of Martin Luther King (MLK) Parkway within the City of Sierra Vista, Arizona. This project includes tasks necessary to improve an approximate 1,370 linear foot section of Martin Luther King (MLK) Parkway within the City of Sierra Vista Arizona (See Plans). The pavement (full depth) will be milled and replaced within the section of MLK between State Route 90 Bypass (at the ADOT ROW line) to the west end of the intersection with Avenida Escuela. The removal will also include about 1-inch of the subgrade materials which will all need to be hauled away from the project site. The pavement replacement will consist of 3-inches of asphaltic concrete (AC) over 10-inches of aggregate base course (ABC). In addition to the scope of work described above, the contractor will also be responsible for striping and restoring all utility frames to the new grade as well as the restoration of any existing survey monuments. During the construction of this project, it is noted that the Contractor will be responsible for notifications of construction to local businesses and residences. These tasks are more specifically outlined in Section 10 of these specifications. Work associated with this project shall be completed within 90 calendar days of written Notice to Proceed. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to complete the work specified here within and supply any incidental services or accessories necessary to make the Question Submission Deadline:October 18, 2024, 5:00pm
