Saving Project...

Site work for a development in Watkinsville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a development.

Design and construction of a 30-foot by 30-foot pavilion using all new materials, pressure treated wood, using screws and bolts (not nails), rough sawn solid 8" x 8" posts, rough sawn solid timber frame style gables, Y-support bracing, minimum 4/12 pitch roof, 18-24" overhang, minimum 4" x 6" rafters 24" O.C., and rough sawn solid carrier beams with aluminum drip edge and metal roof. See style examples at the end of this document. Note that the city will provide the concrete slab foundation for the pavilion. City Council is expected to award the contract at a meeting on November 20, 2024 with work to be completed within 120 days of the award. The contract will set forth further terms and conditions and will be approved at the November 20, 2024 public meeting, per O.C.G.A.; thereafter, being signed by both parties. Watkinsville reserves the rights to: waive minor informalities or irregularities, reject any or all proposals, evaluate proposals, and accept any proposal deemed in its best interest. Watkinsville has the right to add or delete from the contract once preliminarily awarded. Any award will be to the most responsive, responsible proposer
