Description

Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Blackstone, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 50,000-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The Southside Virginia Community College Foundation, Inc. (Foundation) is seeking proposals from qualified professional Architectural/Engineering firms interested in providing architectural and engineering services for the construction of a 6,000 SF metal building and a 44,000 SF asphalt pad for truck driving training, to be located in Pickett Park at Ft. Barfoot, Blackstone VA. Services to be provided include, but are not limited to, preparation of construction documents suitable for bid, construction administration, inspections, and other related services as required by the Foundation. This project is, in part, funded by the U. S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration. Minority and female owned businesses or firms are encouraged to apply.
