The Project includes the following Work for the Base Bid plus Alternate A, B, & C: The Base bid work, includes the installation of 1014 feet of 30-inch, 35 feet of 18-inch, and 148 feet of 12-inch diameter gravity stormwater pipe, 3-manholes, 6 catch basins, connecting to existing structures, curb, gutter, & sidewalk, and pedestrian ramps. This work generally occurs in the construction plans from station 4+90 to 15+04, including connecting catch basins. The Alternate A bid work, includes the installation of 441 feet of 30-inch, 35 feet of 18-inch, and 64 feet of 12-inch diameter gravity stormwater pipe, 3-manholes, 5 catch basins, connecting to existing structures, 520 ft of 12-inch water main, 2 hydrant assemblies, curb, gutter, & sidewalk, pedestrian ramps, and other concrete work. This work generally occurs in the construction plans from station 0+50 to 4+90 The Alternate B & C bid work includes the asphalt surface repairs for the work Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Pocatello as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instruction to Bidders. The City of Pocatello reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal in the best interest of City of Pocatello
