Site work and renovation of a civil project in Flemington, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Question Deadline 10/23/2024-Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Project includes the following Work: Installation of a new UV disinfection system and effluent flow meter at the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant and to install a sewage grinder on the influent of the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Work will be substantially completed within 180 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run, and completed and ready for final payment within 210 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day. A bidder may not withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Town of Flemington in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid.
