Site work for a water / sewer project in New Cumberland, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of October 24, 2024, project was awarded to Rudzik excavating, awarded amount is $6,951,844.69.** Contract 2024-02 - Gravity Sewer Installation of approximately 20,000 LF of gravity sewer main, laterals and wyes, manholes, approximately 1,500 LF of the Grant Street Pump Station force main in common trench with gravity sewers and approximately 2,400 LF of the Newell Pump Station force main to be in a common trench with gravity sewers as shown on drawings. Work also includes the installation of one grinder pump and associated low pressure force main. A five percent (5%) Bid Bond or certified cashier's check must accompany all bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Work shall be substantially complete within 450 days and completed and ready for final payment within 510 days. Liquidated damages of $1,000 per day for not meeting substantial completion, and $500 per day for not meeting final completion.
