Renovation of an educational facility in Bedford, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Construction is requesting Subcontractor Pre-Qualifications and Bids for the Bedford County Public Schools' Staunton River HS, Liberty HS, and Bedford Primary Improvement projects. Pre-Qualification submissions are being requested for all trades. Bids are being requested for Pre-Engineered Metal Building Systems, Metal Canopy Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, Special Inspections, and Selective Demolition / Hazardous Material Removal. Pre-Qualification packets must include prior project experience on Educational Facilities, General Contractor References, Business Financials, Project Team Members with Resumes, Safety Records, and Bond Capacity. Virginia's Prevailing Wage Rates MAY be enforced on this project. The project will be bid in multiple phases. The general scope of work and Subcontractor Trades anticipated to be required includes Division 1 through 33. Construction work is scheduled to begin in February 2025 and be complete by September 2026.
