A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Project consists of the installation of approximately 875 lineal feet of 8-inch and 35 lineal feet of 10-inch PVC waterline, two (2) fire hydrants, 200 lineal feet of 10-inch PVC waterline within a 20" PVC casing installed via directional drilling, valves, fittings, connection to an existing waterline, traffic control, restoration and all other ancillary items as necessary per the contract documents. Work includes furnishing all equipment, material, and labor for the work described in the contract document drawings and specifications. A significant part of the negotiation process will involve the financial terms of the Contract. Entities submitting a proposal should be prepared to make a presentation to a committee of the School District, which will be no longer than thirty (30) minutes with up to (30) minutes for questions. Presentations will be scheduled during the week of October 14th - 25th, 2024 Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids on this contract and will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration of this award. All Contractors are required to adhere to the State of Delaware M/WBE requirements for M/WBE participation. All Bidders must use to the greatest extent feasible minority, women, and/or disadvantaged businesses and will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex in considering businesses for subcontracting and/or material/equipment supplies.
