Reference Number 0000279539 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/10/17 03:00:00 PM EDT The intent of this contract is to acquire Winter Control Equipment, on an hourly rental basis, to provide, snow plowing (scrapping) and sand/salt applications; and, snow plowing (pushing, scrapping, hauling, stockpiling); on an as and when requested basis on the Transitway, at Transitway Stations, at Transitway Park and Ride Facilities, and once per season for OC Transpo garages. Winter Control Equipment for: The snow plowing (scrapping) of snow and ice and spreading and the distribution of abrasives and abrasives and de-icing chemicals (sand/salt) for the purpose of snow and ice control on the Transitway; at Transitway Stations; Transitway Park and Ride Facilities and OC Transpo garages will be 4 x 4 pick-up truck, 2.0 cubic yard rear discharge slide-in electric spreader, 9 foot reversible snow plow blade, complete with left and right side plates, complete with operator(s) - Seven (7) or more units required Commercial General Liability insurance issued on an occurrence basis for an amount of not less than $5,000,000 per occurrence for any negligent acts or omissions by the Contractor.
