Bid Project Item: PROVIDE LABOR, MATERIALS, AND INSTALL THE HOT SPRINGS CREEK KAYAK LAUNCH Question Deadline 10/11/2024 at 5:00 PM CT DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials to prepare the work areas and to complete the work as shown on the plans and described in the specifications and bid documents. A. ITEMS OF WORK THAT ARE TO BE INCLUDED IN THE BID In addition to the work and materials required to finish the work, the following shall also be included: Taxes and fees Permit costs Traffic control measures and traffic plans Location of Utilities Notification of property owners Off-site disposal of removal items Removal of grass and soil to subgrade Subgrade preparation and compaction Root pruning Removal of shrubs, trees, and roots up to 12" in diameter Removal of soils and rock to the depth required for the improvements Furnish and place Class 7 base Concrete forms Placement of concrete Ready-mix concrete Concrete finishing Stripping forms Expansion joints Rebar and other embedment materials Placement of rebar and embedded items Backfill and finish grading Replacement of topsoil, grass, or sod Coordinate with utilities to relocate or reposition utility boxes and appurtenances
