Invitation for Bid for FY25 Fall Roadway Improvements on various roads within the Town of Barnstable as specified. Questions Due Date: Oct 16th 2024, 12:00 PM EDT The "Fair Share" construction requirement for this project is a minimum of 10.4% combined MBE/WBE participation by state certified MBEs and WBEs. The work under this Contract consists offurnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to perform various roadway improvements in the Town of Barnstable. The improvements include milling of existing paved surfaces, repair and/or adjustment of utility structure castings and gate boxes, installing hot mix asphalt leveling and top courses, and applying new thermoplastic pavement markings. The work also requires site preparation, street sweeping, application of asphalt tack coat, construction-related safety signage, minor restoration work, and all other related activities whatsoever required to complete the roadway improvements as specified herein and as directed by the Engineer.
