Assuming a start date of December 16, 2024, Public Works requires this project to be completed by March 7, 2025. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bank certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price, made payable to Dane County.. EMERGING SMALL BUSINESS PROVISIONS A. Emerging Small Business (ESB) Goal. The goal of this project is ten percent (10%) ESB participation. ESBs utilizations are shown as a percentage of the total Bid. B. Emerging Small Business Involvement. Bidder shall make good faith effort to award minimum of ten percent (10%) of the Work to ESBs. Good faith effort means significant contact with ESBs for purposes of soliciting bids from them. Failure to make or demonstrate good faith efforts will be grounds for disqualification. C.
