RIAC will respond to all relevant questions no later than end of day October 15, 2024. via addendum. This addendum will be posted to RIAC's website at online. Anticipated Commencement 1/17/2025. Introduction The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC), owner and operator of Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (Airport), through this Notice of Intent ("NOI") process, is soliciting proposals from qualified parties (Proposers) to operate, maintain and provide repair services for the Outbound Passenger In-Line Baggage Handling System (BHS) and Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) at Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD). PVD currently has nine (9) PBBs and one BHS split into north and south bag rooms. The current BHS was installed in 2007 by Jervis B. Webb. The components that comprise the BHS include but are not limited to the following: approximately 4,300 linear feet of conveyor, 367 drives, 8 Explosive Detection System (EDS) machines, 10 carousels (4 inbound and 6 outbound), BHS control hardware (23 Motor Control Panels, 1 BHS control room, 8 output/input protocol interfaces, and 6 arrays), and BHS control software. RIAC expects an increase in the number of PBBs under this maintenance contract within the next 5 years. Proposers should be prepared to provide additional service during the life of this contract.
