Renovation of a transportation facility in Markham, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

Replace Two (2) Existing Overhead Doors at Pace South Division Within seven days after issuance of Pace's issuance of a written "Notice to Proceed," Contractor shall apply for all necessary permits for the Work specified in the Notice to Proceed. Contractor shall: (a) commence the Work within 15 days from date that the first of the permits is issued or immediately if no permits are necessary; (b) substantially complete the Work within 180 days from the date of the issuance of Pace's Notice to Proceed; and (c) complete the Work, including obtaining Pace's final acceptance of the Work, within 90 days from the date of substantial completion of the Work. Upon the Effective Date, Contractor shall notify Pace of the names of and contact information for Contractor's project manager, field superintendent, and major field representatives. Contractor shall begin Punch List Work immediately after receipt of the Punch List, shall prosecute that Punch List Work continuously, and must complete all Punch List Work within the time period specified in the Certificate of Substantial Completion. If Contractor does not remedy all Punch List items or defective work within the time fixed by the Certificate of Substantial Completion, then Pace, without declaring Contractor to be in breach of this Contract, reserves the right through its own forces or its designated agents to remedy the Punch List items or defective work at the expense of Contractor and set off the cost against any amount due to Contractor under this Contract or, without proceeding to remedy those Punch List items or defective work, reduce the Contract price by the value of such items or work as reasonably estimated by Pace. Contractor and its sureties will remain liable to Pace for all costs of repair, including all labor, materials, and supervision costs. The question and answer period is extended until Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. Questions received after this date will not be accepted
