Haverhill Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed, public bids from Contractors for the renovation of two public bathrooms and related space at The Community Building, Kennedy Circle, Haverhill, MA 01830. The Project consists of: Renovation will include approximately 230 square feet on the first floor. New work will include demolition of interior flooring, fixtures and finishes and construction of new flooring, fixtures, accessories and finishes as required for the work, per the plans. Project consists of renovating the existing restrooms in the community building of the Kennedy Circle complex. The renovation work will provide accessible restrooms for both men and women's restroom spaces where the current restroom configuration did not. New fixtures, finishes, lighting, and venting will be provided as part of the renovation work along with partitions and accessories. Creation of new janitors closet in existing space. The work is estimated to cost $74,629. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 Section 44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. C.149 Section 26 to 27H inclusive. The inspection is an opportunity to visit and observe the site only. All bids shall be prepared and submitted and received no later than the date & time specified above. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Haverhill Housing Authority. Any questions must be submitted in writing to ACS, LLC, on the Friday prior to the date stated below for the bid opening.
