As of August 21, 2025, per owner, architect identified. The Virginia Highlands Airport Authority is requesting qualifications from architectural/engineering firms with experience in general aviation terminal design and renovation for a terminal renovation project at the Virginia Highlands Airport. The project is anticipated to be accomplished through funding from the Virginia Department of Aviation (DOAV) and Washington County. Anticipated services for the project will include schematic design, final design, bidding, and construction administration. The project will also include coordinating with the granting agencies, preparation of grant applications and related activities, and reporting to the granting agencies. Respondents and respondents' qualifications will be evaluated based on prior experience with architectural/engineering and consulting work involving the same or similar building projects. Familiarity with DOAV grant and funding procedures is required. The successful firm shall agree to comply with the requirements of the Code of Virginia, Title 2.2, Chapter 43. Expressions of interest, with statement of qualifications, including background and experience of staff members who would be assigned the work, and a summary listing of similar projects conducted by the firm should be submitted to the Virginia Highlands Airport Authority, P.O.
