Final Date for Receipt of Questions: October 22, 2024 Official Responses to Questions by: October 24, 2024 Any questions not asked at the site visit must be submitted in writing to FL.Purchasing@opwdd.ny.gov within 2 business of the site visit. Contractors will receive a response within 2 business days after the deadline for submitting questions. All questions and answers will be e-mailed to all contractors that attended the mandatory site visit. Please write clearly for corresponding purposes and make sure your email address is clearly written. Contractors are encouraged to ask questions regarding the specifications of this project at the site visit. The purpose of asking questions during the site visit is to obtain clarification to the enclosed Project Scope. In the event that modifications are needed to the Project Scope, the modifications will be distributed by the FLDDSO Business Office to all contractors. Contractors are to prepare and submit their quotes based on the written Project Scope and any modifications made in writing. This project is an ACM Decontamination and removal, site assessment written by Loziers. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 90 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of the project, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Point of Contact. The Asbestos Abatement Project consists of the removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials within the Wing 7 Attic space. In addition, the space is contaminated. The project will include the decontamination of the entire space and all surfaces within the space at 509 Vienna Street, Newark, New York 14513. The work shall be performed in accordance with this specification and all other applicable State and Federal Regulations.
