Work Location: Commonwealth of Virginia Virginia State Police Aviation Abingdon 18337 Lee Highway Abingdon, VA 24210 All work shall be performed in full compliance with The Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC), Commonwealth of Virginia Construction and Professional Services Manual (CPSM), all applicable EPA, OSHA, NIOSH regulations, all other 1 applicable Federal, State and local government regulations. Where a conflict exists between these regulations and the project specifications, the most stringent shall apply. All work that does not meet the approval of the Department shall be corrected immediately. If the work is not corrected in a timely fashion, the Department may arrange for the corrective work to be accomplished by other sources and reserves the right to deduct that portion from the amount due the Contractor. All measurements provided in this specification are for the use of potential bidders in evaluating their desire to participate in this contracting process. All measurements for submitting any bid are the responsibility of the bidder. Construct 15' x 30' x 6" concrete slab with 18" turndown in accordance with Attachment C Grade and prepare site as required. Provide stone and fill materials as required. Crushed stone shall be compacted at a minimum of 4" base. Removal of Material: The Contractor(s) shall remove all excess material, trash, preparation debris from the worksite and off the Department property, in accordance with existing regulations regarding such disposal. Contractor must supply own dumpster for this activity and removal of same at completion of demolition. Please ensure that the placement of the dumpster does not interfere with VSP normal operations.
