SCOPE AND PRICING Description of the Work: 1. General: Contractor shall perform all construction services, and provide all material, means and methods, equipment, tools and labor, necessary to complete the work described in and reasonably inferable from the Contract Documents. The Work generally includes providing labor, materials, equipment, means and methods to complete the project. 2. Specific: The work includes but is not limited to the specific scope elements identified in the Division 1 (DIV-1) and accompanying Drawings, Specifications, etc. Pricing: The firm-fixed-price for this work is $TBD. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE/DELIVERY Notice of Award: Award of the signed Contract constitutes Battelle's Notice of Award (NOA). Contractor is hereby advised that the following shall be provided as set forth herein, unless the parties mutually agree otherwise in writing, within fourteen (14) calendar days from NOA: 1. Performance and Payment Bonds submitted to the Contracts Specialist 2. Standard SF1413 Form(s) for all Subcontractors submitted to the Contracts Specialist 3. Certificate of Insurance Unless the parties mutually agree otherwise in writing, the following shall be provided by the Contractor within thirty (30) calendar days from NOA: 4. Submit Activities Plan. 5. Submit Const Schedule, if not integrated into the Activities Plan. 6. Submit Schedule of Values, if not integrated into the Activities Plan. 7. Submit Submittal schedule, if not integrated into the Activities Plan. 8. Submit Safety & Health Plan. 9. Submit any site-specific regulatory documents as required by permitting process. 10. Submit request to 'U-Dig" agency and copy agency acknowledgement to PNNL. 11. Submit qualifications of scanning service. 12. Submit concrete plant's mix design. 13. Submit welder's certification for minor welds, including RPM base plates, corner plates, custom gate arm riser, k-rail sign saddles, conduit bridges, and field welding. 14. Submit cable product data. No substitutions allowed except as noted in design drawings or Div1. 15. Submit qualification of site foreman/supervisor confirming completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training Course. 16. Submit notice of layout results and completion, including U-Dig and scanning results. 17. Submit notice of utility interruptions 2 days before. IMPORTANT: The items identified herein are not all inclusive of technical required submittals that may be required prior to NTP. The Contractor shall refer to Division 1 (DIV-1) for additional items that may also be required. Commencement, Prosecution, and Completion of Work: The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this Contract within thirty (30) calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the Notice of Award (NOA), (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) fully complete the entire work ready for use not later than 42 Calendar Days after mobilization and commencement of onsite work. 9Notice to Proceed: With receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP), the Contractor shall be authorized to: 1. Commence Work under this Contract by the issuance of an NTP, anticipated to be effective on or around December 09, 2024, and will be adjusted based on the NOA date. Contractor is expected to commence work under this Contract on or around February 3, 2025. 2. Prosecute the Work diligently. 3. Complete the work as set forth in the Division 1 (DIV-1), and 4. Complete the entire Work ready for use as set forth herein no later than 42 calendar days after NOA.
