2025-15 - Bridge & Railing Replacement and/or Restoration Project No: 2025-15 Type: Bid Department: Parks & Recreation This bid is offered by the Procurement Manager. Respondents shall carefully examine this bid and any addenda issued by the Procurement Manager and posted on the website. Respondents are responsible for making themselves aware of, obtaining and incorporating any changes made in any addendum to their final bid. Failure of any Respondent to receive any such addendum or interpretation shall not relieve such proposer from any obligation under his/her proposal as submitted. All addenda issued shall become part of the contract documents. Acknowledgement of Addendums on the Bid Form must be signed (if applicable). Respondents shall seek clarification of any ambiguity, conflict, omission, or other error in this bid "in writing." Oral comments or communications do not form any part of this bid offering. Project specifications are as follows: a) Replace the current bridge with a more themed aesthetic bridge to fit the desired identity for the facility. An example of the proposed new bridge is demonstrated in pictures above. The new bridge must be designed and approved by a registered structural engineer. b) The requested alternate bid shall include cost to restore the current bridge, including sandblasting to bare metal, primer epoxy paint, and an update to match the desired waterpark theming and brand identity, by eliminating or modifying existing hand railings to a wood and rope, or netting theme. c) Replace all light blue railing in the park with post and rope, similar to a few of the areas in the park already, including the entryway, the gates, and under the slides. Railing pricing shall include demolition and disposal. In areas where posts will be in existing concrete, the Respondent shall core drill suitable holes for posts and epoxy or concrete posts in place. d) All railing areas along fall zones must have netting in addition to the posts and rope.
