The Town of Nags Head (the "Town") is soliciting qualified firms/individuals to be considered for supporting on-call architectural services to the Town during the 2024/2025 Fiscal Year. The initial contract duration shall be for approximately one-year, with the option of extending the agreement annually for a period of up to three (3) years. The selected firms/individuals shall be knowledgeable with the Town of Nags Head Code of Ordinances, State Building Codes, commercial building design and standard coastal building practices. Qualifications shall be submitted in the form of a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). The Town of Nags Head has determined that a need exists to supplement its current capabilities for evaluation and serviceability of existing Town owned facilities, planning and design of future facilities, rehabilitation and redevelopment of existing buildings and plan review. It is the intent of the Town to establish a task order-based approach for the provision of architectural services. For larger scale municipal projects, the Town of Nags Head reserves the option to procure professional architectural services using a separate qualification-based selection process. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any and all proposals submitted, and to negotiate portions thereof.
