The City of HUTCHINSON is currently accepting proposals to provide Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Environmental Review and administrative services to assist in a proposed project to be financed up to $194,000.00 in Commercial Rehab CDBG funds. The remainder of the project will be financed with funds by the City of HUTCHINSON. The project consists of rehabilitation of the second story of a commercial building located at 14 North Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. This project is estimated for completion on or before December 31, 2026. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from various candidate organizations and conduct a fair and extensive evaluation based on criteria listed herein. The specific project is rehabilitation of the second story of a commercial building located at 14 North Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. Administration services shall include, but are not limited to, the implementation of the project in conformance with the following CDBG compliance area: environmental review, financial management, procurement, labor standards, equal opportunity/civil rights, citizen participation, acquisition/relocation, and close-out. Project Timeline: The timeline for completion of the Project must be done by December 31, 2026. Project planning phase will determine the timeline/schedule for the remaining phases of the project. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. A personal interview may be requested by the City of HUTCHINSON to be held during the selection processes. The grant administration firm will be selected at the next City of HUTCHINSON council meeting being held on October 15, 2024. The City of HUTCHINSON City Council will complete its rating that evening and select a firm.
