The Contractor shall be compensated for the services in accordance with the Service Rate specified on Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet; which shall include all materials, labor, tools, travel and per diem, non-consumable supplies, transportation, equipment and every other item of expense necessary to provide elevator maintenance, inspections, and repairs as specified herein for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), California Medical Facility (CMF), located at 1600 California Drive, Vacaville, California 95687. Service shall be applicable for all equipment listed in Exhibit A-1, Equipment List. The State reserves the right to add equipment similar to the list established at the commencement of this contract and delete equipment that has become obsolete. Contractor shall service additional equipment at the unit rates specified in Exhibit B-1, Rate Sheet. The State assumes no responsibility for any work completed by Contractor and will not reimburse Contractor for any work performed prior to approval and scheduling by the Institution Contract Liaison or designee. It is the intent of this contract that any work not specifically mentioned herein, but is required as part of normal expected maintenance to the elevators and dumbwaiter shall be performed without additional cost to the State. The Contractor shall examine, adjust, and lubricate the elevators to provide maintenance as frequently as indicated herein or as necessary to maintain safe equipment operation.
