Renovation of a transportation facility in Shoreline, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The project scope includes approximately 40 shelters. Hoffman Construction Company, General Contractor/Construction Manager ("GC/CM" or "Contractor") for Sound Transit BRT Stations, Furnishings & Systems ("Project") being performed for The Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority (Sound Transit) ("Owner") requests sub-bid proposals for Bid Package #2 - All Other Work. This bid package includes the following: Bid Item #2A - Shelter & Pylon Installation, #2B - Miscellaneous Metals, #2C - Sitework, #2D - Flashing and Roofing (including demo) and #2E - Painting and Coatings. Sound Transit Union Station, located at 401 S Jackson Street, Seattle, WA 98104 . Owner and Contractor are committed to promoting and stimulating the growth of disadvantaged business enterprises, minority business enterprises, women business enterprises and veteran owned businesses and maximizing opportunities for these firms to participate in the work of this project. Project goal is 6% DBE inclusion; however, Contractor has established a scope specific goal for each of the Bid Item in this Request for Proposal of 10% DBE.
