Renovation of a power facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
This project is for the replacement of the existing 2500A switchboard 'MS' located in the basement below the main terminal of CLT airport. The existing switchgear shall be replaced with (2) new electrical distribution panelboards and shall have backup power availability through the installation of a generator docking station and manual transfer switch. The new distribution panelboards shall feed all existing circuits energized from existing switchboard 'MS'. After all existing circuits have been refed, existing switchboard 'MS' shall be demolished. A mandatory site tour will immediately follow the pre-bid conference. In order to gain access to the secure project site through a visitor's pass, you must submit your FULL name (first, middle, last) as it appears on your govt.-issued ID, company name, gender, date of birth, email address and phone number through the e-Builder Q&A tab no later than 3:00 PM EST on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Late registrations will not be accepted. TSA screening requirements will apply. You must register even if you're currently badged! Written requests for clarification must be submitted electronically through the eBuilder Bid Portal Q&A board. The deadline for submitting written requests for clarification is on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 5:00 PM EST.
