Notice is hereby given that from time to time the Henry County Water Authority has need for services of an independent state certified contractor who can supply labor and equipment necessary to replace and/or relocate water meters and the appurtenances thereto at the request and under the direction of the Authority. The Authority is now seeking bids for the performance of services hereinafter described. Labor and equipment necessary to replace, install and program 3/4 " to 1" Sensus smart meters/transmitters, backflows, and any appurtenances according to the specifications of the Authority on an "as needed" basis. Services requested by the Authority must be commenced within five (5) days of notification by the Authority to the Contractor and must be completed within the time specified by the Authority. Bids submitted for the above stated services shall be for a period commencing January 1, 2025 and terminating December 31, 2025. The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any bids and further reserves the right to terminate any contract that it may enter, including but not limited too, if the contractor fails to meet the requirements of the Authority. In addition, the Authority reserves the right to reject any bid or proposal that is nonresponsive or not responsible.
