1.1.1 The scope of work is described in Section 01 11 13. Mobilization, setting up job trailers and storage areas, abiding by regulations, obtaining the required bonds and insurance, testing, coordination, and other incidental tasks and expenses shall also be included under the scope of work. 1.1.2 All Work shall be performed in accordance with generally accepted standards of construction and in accordance with the Contract Documents, of which the Drawings and these Specifications are a part. 1.1.3 All of the items constructed or installed under this Contract shall be fully functioning and operational prior to completion of the Work. The Work is generally described as follows: Refinishing floors, walls, and ceilings; replacing light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and doors. Questions Due Date: Dec 2nd 2024, 4:00 PM EST A certified check or bank draft, payable to Borough of Edinboro, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to 10% of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The Contractor must abide by all laws and regulations applicable to locally funded public contracts, including but not limited to equal employment opportunity. Prevailing wages will apply if the contract price exceeds $25,000. The Work will be substantially completed within 120 calendar days of Notice to Proceed, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with paragraph 14.07 of the General Conditions within 150 calendar days.
