Reference Number 0000280162 Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries (MBLL) MBLL requires a qualified contractor to provide inspecting, testing, maintenance, and repair services for MBLLs sprinkler, fire panels, smoke heads, standpipe, hydrant, and fire hose systems installed in various properties in throughout Manitoba, which will result in a Standing Offer for the provision of the services. The Contractor will be required to: Provide complete services for inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing MBLL's sprinkler, fire panels, smoke heads, standpipe, hydrant, and fire hose systems. Identify all repairs and deficiencies as a result of the testing. Summarize these items in a report along with the problem, action taken or required to be taken and recommendations to remedy the condition. Provide an estimate of the cost where items cannot be easily remedied as part of the inspection process. Undertake repairs or modifications only by approval of MBLL. Retest and re-certify systems upon completion of repairs or modifications. Test alarm interfaces to other systems. This will include but is not limited to fire alarm systems and other alarm points as may exist in all MBLL facilities. Maintain records of equipment and testing and submit certificates and reports. Maintain a database of components and results of testing. Supply parts for Buffalo Place or King Edward, including sprinkler heads and smoke heads etc. MBLL assume responsibility for replacing any parts that are broken or damaged. Inspect the following fire department connection for Store 36, Northdale LM, 965-A Henderson Hwy, WPG: Check Valve (4-inch check valve, model Swing). B. Repairs or modifications as a result of the testing will be coordinated with the relevant local authority having jurisdiction. C. MBLL currently maintains approximately: a. 36 fire sprinkler systems. b. 9 fire standpipe systems. c. 3 hydrant systems. d. 6 fire hoses. D. MBLL may, at any time, add or delete equipment or systems as required. MBLL reserves the right to amend or cancel this competition at any time and is under no obligation to accept or act upon the lowest or any submission. Commercial general liability insurance covering all operations of the Contractor, including products and completed operations, and coverage for non-owned automobiles in the minimum amount of $5,000,000. Said policy shall name MBLL, its directors, officers, employees, and agents as additional insured. Any resulting contract will have an expected duration of 3 years, beginning on or around November 1, 2024, with a 1-year option term for all locations available at MBLL’s sole discretion.
