Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. (WAA) is soliciting Proposals for the provision of Construction Management services to complete the T-187 Combined Services Building (CSB) Interior Renovations, Electrical and Mechanical Upgrades project at 2100 Saskatchewan Avenue, Winnipeg Richardson International Airport. Construction of the Combined Services Building (CSB) interior renovations and upgrades, including site works, demolition, excavation, grading, and structural modifications. Key elements involve installing new high-efficiency electric boilers, electrical upgrades, and reconfiguring the fire truck bay exhaust system to address moisture and leakage issues. Additional work includes structural steel framing, masonry walls, roofing systems, insulation (at and below grade), waterproofing, and fire stopping. Interior renovations will modernize the facility with new finishes such as flooring, gypsum board, ceiling tiles, and painting. All mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems will be upgraded to meet current standards. 3 Mechanical and electrical upgrades, including airside civil and electrical work within the firehall to ensure efficient operations and minimal disruptions. This includes HVAC system updates, fire suppression systems, electrical distribution enhancements, and emergency power systems, alongside the reconfiguration of the mechanical room and increased electrical capacity to support future upgrades. 4 Groundside work includes site utilities upgrades. The work will focus on maintaining secure and continuous access to the CSB while upgrading utility connections to meet operational needs. .5 Temporary works for construction staging, fencing relocations, final removals, and cleanup. .6 Operations and Maintenance manuals, Commissioning, Training, and building turnover to WAA.
