The Major Quantities include approximately: The work shall consist of crushing 22,500 cubic yards of excess material from street reconstruction projects, which consist of some recycled concrete pavement, curb & gutter, sidewalk, and rock into 20,000 CY Gradation No. 11 1/2 " Crushed Aggregate Base Course and 2,500 CY Crushed Aggregate Base Course. Bidder's Proof of Responsibility must be included in the electronic bid proposal Each electronic bid shall be accompanied by a bond, certified check, bank cashier's check, or bank draft for five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, payable to the City of Wisconsin Rapids. The City of Wisconsin Rapids reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities, and to make awards in such manner as may be deemed proper and in the best interest of the City. Removal of Bid Items The City reserves the right to remove any bid item from the contract when it determines the price is. overly excessive and not realistic to work to be performed.
