Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Gallipolis, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 12,000-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Board of Gallia County Commissioners is interested in acquiring the services of an Engineering/Architect to provide the necessary engineering services for a new construction of a 12,000 square foot building for the Gallia County Council on Aging. The location of this facility will be 1165 State Route 160, Gallipolis, Ohio. Procedures for selection of an architect will be in accordance with the provisions of the Ohio Revised Code. All proposals will be evaluated in terms of experience, performance and capacity. The type of experiences desired are: experience with state and federal compliance, experience planning and designing governmental office space, experience working on new construction of county facilities, experience with field supervision, and experience with competitive sealed bid procurement. Performance will be assessed in terms of timeliness, completing work within budget, and quality of work. Capacity will be evaluated in terms of number and type of staff to be assigned tasks, staff experience and staff time availability. The County will begin negotiations with the respondent obtaining the highest total score in the evaluation process. Gallia County is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
