Renovation of a municipal facility in Gerry, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Town of Gerry is currently accepting bids for upgrades on the Gerry Town Hall that include windows, doors, and siding. All bidders are welcome to attend the opening. If you have any questions, please contact me at Town of Gerry at 716-985-4715. Replacement of all windows in the building (22 total) All work to be done using safe lead practices All windows installations are to be installed according to manufacturer's recommendations All windows installations to be installed "weather tight "using appropriate foam and caulking All windows to be white vinyl replacement windows on both interior and exterior All windows to match the existing mechanical operation of existing windows Interior window trim that is removed should be replaced with similar materials Spec stickers to remain on windows until after inspection Window warranty information to be left with the building owners Windows must be double pane Low E glass NYS approved Energy Glass Windows Replacement of all (3) exterior doors Bids should include the installation of code-compliant doors and hardware All doors being bid should maintain existing egress openings Bids must include manufacturers' specification sheets listing door material, R-value, and lockset type Questions about these bid specifications should be submitted to Richard Heath at 716- 499-0474 Or richardheath@gerryny.us
