Site work and paving for a civil project in N Middlesex, Vermont. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
The deadline to submit bids for permanent repairs on Town roads damaged by the July 2024 floods has been POSTPONED INDEFINITELY due to a delay in information from the State of Vermont. Permanent Road Repair Norton Road The Town of Middlesex is seeking proposals for repairs to Town highways affected by the 2024 floods. Bids may be for all or some of the projects. This is a FEMA project. Minority and/or women-owned firms as well as firms from labor-surplus areas are encouraged to apply. Scope of Work: Work will include precast concrete Box Culvert (see attached hydraulic study). Rip Rap 2 areas on the stream bank Restoration of road surface to include final grading and compacting. Work will include all tools, labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the work in a safe and professional manner. Estimated Quantities: Rip Rap 2 areas 80 cubic yards total for both Road Surface 1 1/4" Granite Gravel 1 1/2 mile x 22' x 4" average depth 735 . Box Culvert-Complete installation ready for use to include rip rap at inverts as necessary The Town of Middlesex reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
