Renovation of a religious / funeral development in Brookline, Vermont. Working plans call for the renovation of a religious / funeral development.
**As of November 18, 2024, no bids received. No definite date for the rebid.** Town of Brookline-Request for Proposal - Slate Repair, Ridge Cap Replacement and Capping Two Brick Chimneys Scope of Work for the Brookline Meetinghouse Project includes: Replacement of damaged or compromised slate for both north and south sides of sanctuary, using only matching, provided, Guilford slates, using traditional methods. Ridge cap to be replaced with period cap and cleat method, using 20 ounce copper sheet running 35' from the east side of steeple to east end of roof. Capping two brick chimneys by subtracting brick to establish flat plane to accept sized blue stone cap adhering to brick. Current proof of workers compensation and general liability insurance must be included with the bid Project must be completed or contracted by 11/30/2024. The Town of Brookline reserves the right to reject any or all bids and accept the bid most favorable to the town.
