Renovation of a municipal facility in Brookline, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Town of Brookline Request for Proposal - Bids are being solicited for scraping and painting the exterior of the wooden annex and exterior windows complete to our Historic Brookline Meetinghouse including the trim around the wall to roof line of the brick portion of the building front and sides. The windows will need to have the putty removed as needed then oil prime the sash. Upon drying, reglaze, then prime the cured sash glazing. Afterwards apply two coats of Sherwin Williams acrylic enamel paint or an agreed upon equivalent. SOW includes scraping thoroughly the outside of the annex, wash as necessary, oil prime and paint two coats of exterior latex Sherwin Williams paint or an agreed upon equivalent. The town requests breaking out the cost of the price for window work in the bid. A current certificate of insurance is required when submitting the bid as well as a copy of your lead paint certification. Painting to be scheduled before September 2025 after necessary carpentry work is completed by the town and inspected to the satisfaction of the select board before payment. The town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid it deems most favorable to the town.
