Site Address: 555 Broadway Street Site Directions: Edgar Springs, MO The Proposed Work Includes Wastewater Treatment Facility improvements including: Replacement Tertiary Disc Filter system, replacement UV Disinfection system, effluent flow meter, Influent Pump Station Valve Vault, standby generator, sludge hauling truck, reinforced concrete, earthwork, aggregate surfacing, piping, valves, handrail, stairs, electrical instrumentation and controls. Collection System improvements including: replacement of 5 pump stations with precast wetwells and valve vaults, submersible pumps, portable generator, piping, valves, earthwork, aggregate surfacing, fencing, electrical, instrumentation and controls. Bids shall be as stated in the Bid Form. Nondiscrimination in Employment - Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. In accordance with the Federal Funding Accountability Act of 2006, the contractor assures that it, as well as it's subcontractor(s), shall register in the System for Award Management (SAM). Requirement is further explained in the specifications. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246. Each bidder must submit a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of their total bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities, and to determine the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder, and to award the contract on that basis. All Labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Standards.
