Site work and paving for a civil project in Middlesex, Vermont. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
The deadline to submit bids for permanent repairs on Town roads damaged by the July 2024 floods has been POSTPONED INDEFINITELY due to a delay in information from the State of Vermont. Permanent Road Repairs Notch Road The Town of Middlesex is seeking proposals for repairs to Town highways affected by the 2024 floods. Bids may be for all or some of the projects. This is a FEMA project. Minority and/or women-owned firms as well as firms from labor-surplus areas are encouraged to apply. cope of Work: Work will include culvert installation, ditching, stone line ditches, precast concrete Box Culvert (see attached Hydraulic Study). Rip Rap slope in one area. Clean up area by Brook and Rip Rap. Restoration of road surface to include final grading and compacting. Work will include all tools, Labor, Equipment and Materials necessary to complete the work in a safe and professional manner. Estimated Quantities: 8 Culverts 2-24"x40' HDPE Grey 1-36"x40' HDPE Grey 5-18"x 20' R.O.W. HDPE Black Ditching Stone line 2,200 linear feet x 6' wide avg 1' 470 Cubic yards Build up road 3" dense grade 200 Cubic yards Road Surface 2,640 Linear feet x 18' x 6" avg depth 880 Cubic yards 1 Precast concrete Box Culvert The Town of Middlesex reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
