The deadline to submit bids for permanent repairs on Town roads damaged by the July 2024 floods has been POSTPONED INDEFINITELY due to a delay in information from the State of Vermont. Permanent Road Repairs Bolduc Road The Town of Middlesex is seeking proposals for repairs to Town highways affected by the 2024 floods. Bids may be for all or some of the projects. This is a FEMA project. Minority and/or women-owned firms as well as firms from labor-surplus areas are encouraged to apply. Scope of Work: Work will include 1 Box Culvert installation (see attached Hydraulic Study). Ditching Stone line ditches Restoration of road surface to include final grading and compacting. Work will include all tools, Labor, Equipment and Materials necessary to complete the work in a safe and professional manner. Estimated Quantities: Ditching 500 linear feet ave. 6'x 1' 500 L.F. Stone line 500'x6'x1' 112 Cubic yards Road Surface 1,000 Linear feet x 22' x avg 4" depth 220 Cubic yards Box Culvert - Complete installation ready for vehicular use and include riprap at inverts as necessary The Town of Middlesex reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
