The Contractor shall excavate and dispose of the existing court and prepare the base for the new court to the limits shown on the plan. It is assumed that the existing base is unsuitable, but the subbase is suitable and can be graded, compacted and remain. The Contractor shall install no less than 6 inches of processed gravel as new gravel base material, and bituminous concrete surface as details in the Contract Drawings. Other work includes striping of the new basketball court and all surface restoration as required on the Contract Drawings.
