Address: 210 12th Street, Clay Center, KS 67432 The City of Clay Center is requesting bids from licensed and insured plumbing/electrical/sewer contractors for the following scope of work: Labor and materials to install: Two (2) Myers VS30-21/3hp 230V-1ph pumps with 4 Dia X 16 Deep Fiberglass Wet Well with the following to be installed by manufacturer, Pump Guiderail System/ 2 sch80 PVC Discharge Piping/Float Support Bracket/Aluminum Cover/Access Hatch. Install two shut off ball valves, one per pump, located outside adjacent to wet well. One (1) Control Panel 230V/1hp NEMA 4X Stainless Enclosure. One (1) Four Float System Kit. Install a 100 amp 120/240 single phase service built on standoffs on the first pole South of the 12th Street entrance. Include an underground service to feed the provided lift station control box. Wire pumps and float assembly per manufacturer specifications. Include a $1,500.00 budget in proposal for a 10 KVA pole hung transformer. Install 875 Ft of 6-inch Schedule 40 sewer line to lift station Pipe shall have a 4 to 6 inches of compacted fill sand. Cover pipe with a minimum of 12-inches of fill sand above top of pipe. Install 55-feet of 2-inch force main from Lift station to city sewer manhole. One (1) Single Y at Cleanout and pipe extended up to two- feet above grad and install 1 threaded cleanout cap at the end of the 6-inch main. Two (2) Double Y Clean out and pipes to extend up to two-feet above grade and install 2 threaded cleanout caps installed every 275 feet. The City of Clay Center expects the 12th Street Sewer Project to be completed by May 31, 2025.
