Request for Qualifications for Engineering Services Please be advised the Town of Beech Mountain is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to perform professional services related to the damage assessment and repair plan to repair Charter Hills Rd. During Hurricane Helene the roadway suffered a downhill collapse removing a large portion of the road surface in a landslide to a lower adjacent roadway. The mountain road is a two-lane road with approximately 100ý length of collapse to landslide damage removing three quarters of the drive surface. The cut side of the roadway is approximately eighty feet straight down as it stands today. Questions regarding this RFQ or concerning the scope of work for this project should be submitted to Daniel Davis at bmus@townofbeechmountain.com or by telephone at (828) 387-9282. The Town of Beech Mountain reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, negotiate with the best qualified firm regarding fees and/or the scope of services or postpone the decision for an indefinite period. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
