**As of November 22, 2024, project was awarded to XIT Solutions, awarded amount is $187,410.47.* The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Work as more specifically described in the Contract Documents. The Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction and applicable regulations, and includes, but not limited to: Provide and install the new notification system at six campuses. Install new clocks, speakers and buttons. Run new CAT 6ae+ cable from clocks to nearest IDF. See drawings dated October 13, 2021. Bid Security. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by Bid Security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the Bid Proposal, inclusive of the proposed price for any additive Alternate Bid Item(s). Failure of any Bid Proposal to be accompanied by Bid Security in the form and in the amount required shall render such Bid Proposal to be non-responsive and rejected by the District. If the Bidder's Bid Security is in the form of cash, cashiers/certified check, the cash proceeds or cashiers/certified check must be personally delivered or delivered by courier service with tracking and received by the District's Purchasing Department before the latest date/time for submitting Bid Proposals. Cash or Cashiers/Certified Check Bid Security received by the Purchasing Department after the latest date/time for submitting Bid Proposals will result in rejection of the Bidder's Bid Proposal for nonresponsiveness. Cash or Cashiers/Certified Bid Security must be submitted by the Bidder to the Purchasing Department in a sealed envelope with the exterior prominently marked with the Bidder's name, Project Name and Bid Number.
