Renovation of a municipal facility in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This Request for Proposal is for three tilt-up rooftop mounted Solar PV Systems of 98 KW, 166 KW and 70 KW in Port Washington, Wi, on Ozaukee County's Administration Center, 121 W Main St, Justice Center, 1201 S Spring St, and Highway Department, 410 S Spring St, respectively, to include all design, engineering, labor, wiring, racking and other equipment needed for a complete installation. The anticipated award of this contract is November 21, 2024. No pre-submittal meeting will be held. A bid guarantee in the form of a certified check or bond payable without condition to Ozaukee County in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid shall be submitted with each bid as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded, a proper contract and 100% payment & performance bond will be executed and filed within ten (10) days after the acceptance of the bid. If the Contractor fails to execute and file such contract and bond, the amount of the check or bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. No proposal shall be withdrawn after submitted without the consent of Ozaukee County for a period of sixty (60) days after the time of opening. Ozaukee County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any technicality, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of Ozaukee County. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish a satisfactory payment & performance bond in the sum of the full amount of the contract.
