Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Portland, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Summary of Work The project generally consists of, but is not limited to, the following work: A. The Work involves miscellaneous repairs at three different locations in two different cities as follows: 1. Development 73-001 (Portland): Work includes, but is not limited to, new HVAC units in selected units, replacement of deteriorated concrete sidewalks, grinding of existing concrete sidewalks to eliminate offsets, repair pipe railings, and replacement of existing vinyl shutters. 2. Development 73-003 (Portland): Work Includes, but is not limited to, replacement of deteriorated concrete sidewalks, grinding of existing concrete sidewalks to eliminate offsets, and replacement of existing vinyl shutters. 3. Development 73-004 (Red Boiling Springs): Work includes, but is not limited to, new HVAC units in selected units, replacement of deteriorated concrete sidewalks, grinding of existing concrete sidewalks to eliminate offsets, new extensions to existing pipe railings, and replacement of existing vinyl shutters. Each prime bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid. Bid Bonds and Performance and Payment Bonds must be secured by a guaranty, or a surety company listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570 and shall be within the maximum amount specified for such company in said Circular 570. The "Bid Bond" and the "Performance and Payment Bond" must be issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the state where the project is located and must be listed in U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570. Doc note: Prime bidders not tendering a bonafide bid will be refunded half of their bid deposit amount upon return of the bidding documents. No refunds will be issued for bidding documents received after the 14-day period. All bid deposit checks, or drafts shall be made payable to Cauthen & Associates, LLC. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
