The project generally consists of the installation of 1,600 linear feet of 8" diameter SDR-35 sanitary sewer main, seven (7) sanitary sewer manholes, the milling of 3,000 square yards of roadway surface, and the installation of 350 tons of HMA surface course, 500 tons of HMA base course, 1,600 cubic yards of trench repair (1,300 cubic yards with CLSM), traffic line striping, and associated improvements. Plans, Specifications and Proposal Sheets may be obtained electronically at no charge during normal business hours by contacting the Office of the Township Engineer, Edward D'Armiento PE, CME, CFM, CME Associates, One Market Street, Suite 1F, Camden, New Jersey until 48 hours prior to the time set for the opening of bids. Electronic copies of the plans can be obtained by emailing a request to Domenic Rodriguez (Domenic.rodriguez@cmeusa1.com) with the subject heading "Request for Plans Creek Road (CR 636) Sewer Extension". Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check of not less than ten (10%) percent of the bid payable without any conditional endorsement as a guarantee that in case the contract is awarded to the bidder, they will within ten (10) days thereafter execute such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond. Upon failure to do so, he shall forfeit the bid security as liquidated damages and the acceptance of the bid will be contingent upon the fulfillment of this requirement by the bidder. No interest shall be allowed upon any such certified check. A bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid may be substituted for certified check, except the amount of the bid security shall not be less than $500.00 - nor more than $20,000.00. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certificate of Experience and Certificate of Equipment. The Township Council of the Township of Delran reserves the right to reject any or all bids if in its opinion it is in the best interest of the Township to do so.
