Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Lewistown, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Generally, the work includes the construction of a new football field press box. Construction for the project is scheduled to commence promptly upon Board approval and be substantially complete by 04-11-2025. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid, made payable to the Board of Education, Lewistown CUSD 97. Bids not accompanied by a bid bond will be rejected. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Surety Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the Contract cost on prescribed forms within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance is issued by Owner. Surety on bond shall be by a duly authorized U. S. Treasury Backed company licensed to do business in the State of Illinois, acceptable to Owner The Board of Education, Lewistown CUSD 97 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive any irregularity in bidding, which in their considered opinion is warranted.
