The Village of Frankfort is seeking proposals from qualified companies to provide mechanical dredging of the retention pond located at the NE corner of Route 45 and Nebraska Street in Frankfort, Illinois. All work must be completed by April 30, 2025. The Village of Frankfort reserves the right to accept, reject or negotiate any proposal. Background The Village ofFrankfort maintains a roughly 1.41-acre retention pond on Nebraska Street that has significant sedimentation build up. The pond function has been negatively affected by the sedimentation. Initial estimates indicate 2-4' ofsediment covering the entire pond. The successful firm will be responsible for providing a proposal that includes the following services:Pond dewatering. o Mechanical dredging ofsediment. o Disposal ofall sediment. o Daily clean-up of any sediment tracked offsite. Provide silt fence for site. . o Landscape restoration (topsoil, seed, fertilizer, straw blanket). o Attend mandatory Pre-Bid meeting on October 28, 2024, at 10:00am located at the Frankfort Village Hall, 432 W. Nebraska Street. o All work must be completed by April 30, 2025.
