Renovation of a residential development in Rockport, Massachusetts. Working plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
As of December 30, 2024, project is being rebd. No definite date for the rebid. Contractors for the Replacement of Rear Stairwell Doors at the Millbrook Park Development for the Rockport Housing Authority in Rockport, Massachusetts, 01966 The Project consists of: Replacing existing entry/exit doors to the rear stair enclosures for each of the two-story structures on the Millbrook complex. The doors will include both the exit(s) from the stair at grade level along with the second level entries into the stairwell. In addition, some stairwells will require replacement of the wood sill along the door wall as the current is rotted completely and some exterior light sconces will be relocated to avoid the current door swing. The Bid includes an alternate G-1: This alternate will consist of the construction of a door landing and ramp outside of an existing stair exit. This will replace a current condition of two steps down at this door. Question Deadline 11/11/2024 at 4:00 PM ET, General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Rockport Housing Authority The work is estimated to cost $ 148,000.00. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. For projects with an estimated construction cost of over $100,000, General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), according to Article 2.1 in Section 00.21.00 Instructions to Bidders, in the category of: Doors and Windows.
