The work of this contract includes all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform the work as indicated on the contract documents and as specified herein including but not limited to 1. The Contractor to provide the necessary furnishing of all labor, supervision, survey, materials, tools, and equipment,temporary facilities, such as portable sanitary facilities,temporary fencing, erosion control, cover on excavation material, and all other incidental work necessary to complete the work as shown on the Contract Drawings, and as herein specified. 2. The Contractor will have to perform the work in a manner that considers the tide cycle. 3. Procurement, delivery, and installations necessary for maintenance repairs to the Bradley Wharf structure including chinking wall face voids, upper stone reconstruction, capstone shimming, concrete apron reconstruction, and restoration of the topside of the wharf. Additional drawings showing details in accordance with which the Work is to be done may be furnished by addendum from time to time during the bidding period by the Owner, or its advisor, and shall then become a part of the Contract Documents. The proposed Project consists of maintenance repairs to the Bradley Wharf structure including chinking wall face voids, upper stone reconstruction, capstone shimming, concrete apron reconstruction, and restoration of the topside of the wharf. All bids for this project are subject to applicable public bidding laws of Massachusetts, including G.L. c.30 Section 39M as amended. Bids Bradley Wharf Repair Project The proposed Project consists of maintenance repairs to the Bradley Wharf structure including chinking wall face voids, upper stone reconstruction, capstone shimming, concrete apron reconstruction, and restoration of the topside of the wharf. All bids for this project are subject to applicable public bidding laws of Massachusetts, including G.L. c.30 Section 39M as amended. The successful bidder must furnish a labor and materials payment bond in an amount equal to 100 percent of the total contract price. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or, CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price. The Town will reject general bids when required to do so in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
